We are excited to share with you the accomplishments of the Class of 2020, and reveal where they are heading to continue their education in the fall! During the webinar, you’ll see exclusive program updates and learn about all the ways DRDFS has kept students engaged throughout the spring.
Each year, the members of the graduating class who have maintained perfect attendance throughout all three years of the Next Level Scholars program, are given special recognition. The Class of 2020 has 68 out of 111 students who have attended every single program event over three years.

In order to keep students engaged, the Next Level Scholars program has launched online, starting with SAT prep sessions. On March 26th, students logged on to a virtual classroom to learn test tips from tutors at The Princeton Review.
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we acted fast to approve an Alumni Emergency Fund. This fund assists Detroit Regional Dollars for Scholars alumni who are currently enrolled in post-secondary education with food support, housing support, transportation home, and online learning support.
